Web Design Beginner

I am looking for a website that I can record thoughts about my pregnancy, monitor weight gain, record baby names, etc. I would just go buy a book but I was looking for a free way out. Any suggestions will help. Thanks!!

I read some answers of other people but they were only lame ones like : You can only chat with everybody at the same time, or something really unlike Facebook or Myspace… Please help!

I’d rather not see any combat, so a technical job would be good for me. I have an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design & would like to take a job within the Air Force that can compliment that degree? I went on the web site but didn’t really find anything pertaining to that field. Does anyone know of a job that would be good for someone who wishes to become a Graphic Designer when they get out?
P.S. I want to get a general idea of things before I talk to a recruiter.

Basically i want to become a graphic designer, i am 16 atm & i did abit of research & found out that juniour graphic designers get round out 14k a year. i was wondering if that was enough for me to live on when i grow up in this modern day & age as the prices of everything is souring.
i think i could probably make it if i comit to it which i am prepared to but i am worried about the salary & if i can make it as the number of designer are growing on the web .

Jody’s Production Department is composed of 14 members, including: 4 writers: 2 editors, 4 multimedia designers, 2 technology designers, 2 project managers. Each time a project scope (a document containing project requirements) is handed over to her department, Jody tasks two writers, one editor, two multimedia designers, one technology designer, & one project manager to each project. Jody has made several key observations lately. Last Monday, as she was walking past the Production Department, Jody noticed that several of her staff, specifically the writers & multimedia designers, were surfing the web. She passed by four different times that day, & each time she noticed employees were still web surfing. A project, due Wednesday, was already far behind schedule, & the client was becoming impatient. Jody thought she structured her command group to be as efficient as possible, but apparently, that’s not the case. She had established the following roles & responsibilities among group members for any given project: Two writers prepare the script & storyboard for a module. One editor reviews & approves script & storyboard. Two multimedia designers & one technology designer work together to turn the script & storyboard into a final interactive & dynamic online module. Throughout the process, the project manager tracks the progress of each stage of the project, yet is not responsible for setting deadlines–the writers & designers do that. Jody thought having the team set the deadlines would be good practice for them. Jody knows it’s a bit unconventional to assign two writers & two multimedia designers to each project, but she figured it would help them get the job done faster. Apparently, she was wrong. In fact, it’s come to light in weekly department meetings that team members have seemed confused about where their co-writers or co-developers are at with important project milestones. What problems are evident in Jody’s situation? What are the possible causes for the late deadlines & poor performance?

I have 2003 but when my students use it to create websites it has problems with how it appears on IE 8 chrome & firefox. It won’t show the navigation in IE 8 & it won’t play the music in the other browsers. So if you know of something that is simple like publisher 2003 it would really help me out.

Does anyone know a good website to create a div layout?

I’m trying to find a good website to design rooms. I sort of want the furniture to be able to mvoe & flip & rotate adn get smaller or larger & be able to put it anywhere you want to. Also i sort of want it to have fake money where you have challenges & you get to have a certian amount of money to design a room.

Is it a much needed service? I want to start my own business but want to know the longevity of that business.

I have been working on a new website recently in which i sell flags at wholesale prices. I want my website to become one of the top dogs in the flag website industry. I would like to have opinions from the general public as well as other web designers about what they think about my site. What do you think i can add to it to make it stand out from the rest?
Any advice or criticism would be appreciated.

I’m a graphic designer, but am finding it hard to find work right now because I don’t know web design. Even if I learned, which wouldn’t be hard, Graphic/Web Design is still more interaction than I am comfortable with. I’m planning on going to college but can’t figure out what I should go for. I was thinking about becoming an Embalmer, but those aren’t quite in high demand. I’m most interested in Sculpture, but going to college to be a starving artist sounds stupid. Maybe Software Engineer? Any help would be appreciated.
